After doing my homework and receiving 7 estimates from different roofing companies, I decided to choose Gomez as my roofer. When I called on January 31, 2011, I spoke directly with Trent Rhyne the general manager of the company. He was more than accommodating and personally facilitated the work on my roof. After meeting with Mr. Rhyne and checking out Gomez Roofing Services, I decided they would do the work for me. Their rates were outstanding and very competitive. The crew arrived here on my property on 2/3/2011 at 1pm in the afternoon. That was the day it was quite cold. The crew went right to work and by 6:30pm, they had removed the old roof, tar papered the entire roof, and had started the process of laying the cedar shingles! All in 5.5 hours! Amazing. They had to quit because it was dark. They arrived the next morning on 2/4/2011 at 9am. By the time the clock had reached 6:30pm, the roof was totally completed! The neighbors stopped to express their amazement of the progress and workmanship of the crew. Today is Saturday 2/5/2011, the crew showed up briefly to make sure that, my house was clean and to look for any imperfections. These guys tore down and put up a new roof in under 2 days. Every other contractor I spoke with was scheduled out to June or July. These guys were here 3 days after I signed a contract, and finished the work in 2. Quite impressive. So...I wanted to let you know that these guys are great workers and will do the same for anyone else in the community. Thank you for your time.
